Kamalamani - Therapist and mentor in Bishopston, Bristol
About my therapeutic work
I work as a therapist and mentor in private practice and for employee-assistance programmes. I work with men and women from a range of backgrounds, living through a variety of experiences, at different stages in their life cycles and at different points of transition.

The aim of this page is to give a flavour of the different themes that clients bring to therapy. It's impossible to give a real sense of what you might experience as a client in coming to therapy until you actually start the process, given your uniqueness as an individual and the way you in particular 'work'. Hopefully this gives a flavour of the sort of work I do, and have done, with clients.

The page detailing my approach to therapy gives you more information about what to expect in coming to see me. Or the page on Embodied-relational therapy will give you a sense of this way of working. You can also read more about the practicalities in coming to see me.

Befriending your body:
Perhaps you're looking to develop a more positive relationship with your body and feeling more 'at home' in your own skin and a greater sense of living more authentically. Read more about working with embodiment or read an introduction to embodied-relational therapy and body psychotherapy.

Visit the work based therapy page and the page about therapy for those of you running businesses for more information.

Crisis: You are perhaps in the midst of some sort of crisis, and need some time and space to process what's going on and how most usefully to face your current situation.
