Book launch and meditation practice night

I'll be launching my book and leading a practice night at Bristol Buddhist Centre (162, Gloucester Road, BS7) at 7.30pm on Monday 30th January. The evening will include an introduction to the book, a lead reflection/meditation and a chance for discussion and questions.

Another interesting-looking programme at the BPA this year, with evenings on focusing, addiction - society and self, the trauma of exile, shamanic practice, post-modern approach to integration, adoption, creative writing and healing through the arts, and a Pesso Boyden view of why therapists find it hard to receive.

PCSR Conference, 'Psychotherapy and Politics: Contributing to a Sustainable Society'.

Last weekend I appreciated participating in this PCSR conference, looking at how psycotherapists and counsellors can make a contribution to a sustainable society. The conference drew participants therapists from many different approaches and modalities, making for rich discussion and process.
