Kamalamani - Therapist and mentor in Bishopston, Bristol
Therapy for company owners/directors and their employees
Being in business can give you greater independence in your life and can be exhilarating and stimulating. It can give you a strong sense of your own potential, skills and creativity. It can also be extremely lonely and can feel like you're carrying a huge amount of responsibility. Coming for therapy can help in giving you ongoing support, and can help when you are facing a major transition in your work role or at home.
I support company directors and entrepreneurs (and would be entrepreneurs) of small and medium sized businesses and members of family businesses in the following situations:

• passing the business from one generation to another
• facing conflict in business, perhaps with a family member
• seeking support and signposting in starting up in business
• needing time and space to develop interpersonal skills e.g. delegation, leadership etc
• providing a sounding board for personal and professional development in business

Therapy can also be really effective in you and/or members of your staff, in the following situations:

• needing some support in facing a specific challenge
• in conflict with a work colleague and seeking clarity about the situation
• wishing to develop your confidence in pursuing your chosen career or vocation
• making a major decision
• finding it difficult to prevent home problems from affecting your work
• deciding whether to begin a family and the effect of that upon your working life

I have 'real life', ongoing business experience as an active owner and director of my own second generation family business. I have worked in a counselling and consultancy role with individuals in their businesses for more than a decade, in the UK and overseas. I have helped clients to realise their objectives, to live more fulfilled, balanced lives, always bearing in mind the ongoing success of the business.

Please contact me if you would like to talk through whether counselling or mentoring would be supportive for you or your staff at present. Visit the business links page, the families in business link page, or go back to the main therapy page.
